PROFESSIONAL CYCLING KIT

MAGIC GUANTO

MagicGuanto® is an Italian company and brand specializing in the design and manufacture of 100% Made in Italy professional cycling team kit. Channels of MagicGuanto® trade include business to consumer direct (B2C) and custom. MagicGuanto® clients include amateur and professional cycling teams, bicycle clubs, company brands, individual athletes, mass-participation bicycle rides (e.g., Gran Fondo), and race leader jerseys.

THE GLOVE OF CHOICE

METEORIC RISE

Throughout professional cycling’s second golden age (1968-1987), Italian brands dominated. During the latter part of this era MagicGuanto® became “the glove of choice” among teams, often times against their sponsor contracts. The rise of MagicGuanto® was practically overnight, and by 1987 riders sporting MagicGuanto® gloves won every major race on the international calendar (e.g., Milano-Sanremo, Giro d’Italia, Tour de France, Vuelta a España and UCI World Road Championship). Riders donning MagicGuanto® gloves is a Who’s Who of professional cycling, and by the early 1990’s the brand had virtually disappeared.
